The technicians monitor big computer networks and servers for issues from a centralized location. They analyze problems, performs repair and event response on the network system, connect with site technicians and track issues to the resolution.
There are three primary roles in the Network Operation Center set up (NOC):
- To make sure maximum service availability and performance
- To facilitate consumer network services on primary devices
- To support engineering and other technical units
In general, network monitoring talks about the practice of overseeing the operation of a system network using dedicated management software tools. The network monitoring systems are used by the technicians to ensure availability and overall performance of system and network services. They allow admins to monitor right to use, routers, slow mechanisms, firewalls, core switches, client machine, and server performance among other network data. The network monitoring systems are usually employed on large corporate and business IT networks.
